We are hosting this FREE Awareness Training for adults as a response to the recent
and ongoing events and to provide a useful and practical knowledge base for how to
address issues with regard to violence and/or racial mistreatment.
This class will be two hours where your instructor, Joseph Celis, MS, CSCS and former
law enforcement officer will provide Awareness Training for your personal and physical
safety. Joseph pulls from his 25+ years of training in martial arts, self defense and real
life experience and brings together important need-to-know information that will prove
useful should the situation ever call for it.
Joseph will review practical ways to immediately improve your awareness, thereby
greatly enhancing your ability to stay safe and he will also review specifics about what
your rights are and what the says with regard to the law and your personal safety.
This class will be held at Irvine Regional Park and there is a *$5 charge for park entry or
you may use your OC Parks Pass. Please bring your own chair as this will be a lecture
and Q+A format; this class is for adults only.
Specific directions for where we will be located within Irvine Regional Park will go out to
your email after you reserve your spot.
