Supervised by Emily Celis, LMFT #101376
As a therapist, my approach is curious, heart-centered, and hopeful. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where I collaborate with clients to find meaning and healing. I see people as fundamentally relational, meaning our connections to parents, partners, and others shape how we relate to ourselves and the world. I also value culture and family history, recognizing how intergenerational wounds and strengths profoundly impact our stories. From a trauma-informed lens, I honor the complexity that life brings while seeking to understand the whole person through a mind, body, and soul perspective. In addition, I use somatic, body-based tools to help clients access deeper emotions that words alone may not reach.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate histories of trauma and painful experiences from the past. I’m also passionate about supporting people through many forms of grief, including loss, life transitions, identity, racial and cultural experiences, community, environmental, and political grief.
I believe that as human beings, we are meant to live full, joyful lives while also making space for deep grief and pain. Yet, we live in a culture that often rushes grief, asking us to “move on” before our pain has been witnessed or understood. My own encounters with grief have shown me that pain, when met rather than denied, can become a gateway to greater wholeness. Like a lotus rising from dark mud toward the light, healing can begin to emerge when we make space for the parts of ourselves that have long been unseen, silenced, or rejected. Through my own experiences, I understand how intimidating it can feel to begin a healing journey, and I honor the courage it takes to start this work. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy nature walks, watching sports, and reading in a quiet space.
日本語によるカウンセリングを提供しております。
I provide services in Japanese.
I value patience and taking time for the natural unfolding of your story, and I embrace the human-to-human connection by listening with my heart. Clients might describe my presence as calm and grounded, while knowing when to bring playfulness into the room. My hope is to offer a safe space rooted in humility, respect, and authenticity, where clients feel safe enough to show up just as they are.
*S.A.G.E. offers sliding scale fees determined upon your financial need. Please contact us to discuss your particular financial situation to determine the session fee.

Answers to Common Questions About Our Services
Absolutely. You don’t need to hit rock bottom to benefit from support. Many of our clients come in feeling “stuck,” overwhelmed, or just wanting a safe space to process life. If you’re curious — that’s enough.
We combine evidence-based therapy with holistic support like Reiki, spiritual care, and community education. As a nonprofit, we focus on healing — not hustling. You’re not just a number here.
Our holistic therapists are trained to hold space for you no matter where you fall on the spectrum of religion or spirituality – or absence of it. We have worked with a large number of folx who are recovering from spiritual abuse, religious trauma or who are having a faith crisis, but that doesn’t mean we have to even talk about spirituality/religion at all during your therapy sessions. If it’s important to you, we create the space for you to explore it in our work together.
It means we treat you as a whole person — not just a diagnosis. We look at mental health, emotional wellbeing, nervous system support, and a variety of other holistic approaches including consulting with your other holistic professional team members if you desire.
We currently accept insurance from:
