About Talia...

Talia holds an MA in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Irvine, CA and is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist {AMF#109420}. 


During her practicum, Talia provided therapy at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Irvine Counseling Center for individuals, families and couples. She also facilitated groups that centered around mindfulness, coping techniques, interpersonal effectiveness and emotional regulation as well as Men’s Groups. 


Talia’s passions are increasing assertiveness in women healing from adolescent trauma; dating coaching; and working with couples. Talia has a gift with helping individuals develop healthy romantic relationships by utilizing both research and experiential data. She has completed Gottman Method Couples Therapy training Levels I, II & III and has substantial experience helping couples at various stages from the beginning dating relationship to marital repair.


Talia holds state certifications in both Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy and Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy. Talia is an active volunteer with Trauma Intervention Program, responding to traumatic incidents at the request of first responders and medical staff to support those who are emotionally traumatized.
