Lisa is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at S.A.G.E. She completed her graduate studies in Marital and Family Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
“Art can permeate the very deepest parts of us, where words don’t exist.”EILEEN MILLER
Lisa is passionate about helping others use creative expression in their therapeutic journey. Art therapy utilizes the creative process to support, maintain, and enhance a client’s overall health. Like other forms of psychotherapy, art therapy encourages growth and self-awareness by exploring thoughts and emotions. As a trained clinician, Lisa will assist and guide you along the way to living your most authentic life.
Lisa collaborates with you as you develop adaptive coping skills, identify and build on your own inner resources and strengths, and navigate difficult relationships or transitions. She provides sensitive, non-judgmental treatment and will encourage and challenge you to identify and achieve your goals for healing, balance, and fulfillment.
No previous art experience is needed for art therapy. Anyone seeking a deeper purpose, enhanced creativity, or emotional healing can benefit from creative exploration.
